Kishan is a University of Toronto graduate with a BMus in Clarinet Performance, under the tutelage of David Bourque. He also obtained a Master’s degree at York University with a focus on multiple woodwind performance and pedagogy. Kishan has studied flute with Peg Albrecht and oboe with Wendy Bornstein. As a strong multi-instrumentalist, he has held principal positions in orchestras such as principal flute (YorkU), oboe/English horn (YorkU), Clarinet and Bass Clarinet (UofT) and principal bassoon (KSO). He is very active playing woodwinds in pit orchestras across the GTA and has had professional training on all five of the woodwinds.
